AlvaradoSmith is the largest certified minority-owned law firm in California and one of the largest in the nation.  With over 30 attorneys and offices in Los Angeles, Orange County, and San Francisco, our attorneys represent the rich tapestry of the communities where our clients operate, the makeup of their employees, and of their client base.

Our certification in the Southern California Minority Business Development Council, an affiliate regional council of the National Minority Supplier Development Council, and the California Public Utilities Commission Supplier Clearinghouse, relies upon the percentage of minority ownership, as well as the breakdown of diverse and women professionals and staff of AlvaradoSmith.

AlvaradoSmith's Women's Leadership Forum

AlvaradoSmith has developed a group of women attorneys devoted to promoting the interests and progress of women lawyers within AlvaradoSmith. This group has created an active forum for the firm’s management and its attorneys to discuss concerns and solutions to issues women professionals face. The group regularly hosts notable speakers to discuss societal problems confronting women that include judges, in-house counsels, and business development experts, as well as providing tools, skills, and opportunities to best advance individually and professionally.

Multi-Disciplinary Practice

With 10 practice areas extending from Business and Corporate law to more specialized areas such as Financial Institutions, our multi-disciplinary practice allows us to draw upon collective experience to best advise our clients across a wide-range of industries and capacities.
